Photography has fascinated me, and many others, for most of my life. What began as a youthful curiosity quickly grew into a lifelong passion. I started photographing at the age of 15, using a Russian-made analog camera, the Sokol. With this fully manual camera, I learned the fundamentals of photography from the ground up, experimenting with exposure, light, and composition, and developing a deep understanding of how a camera truly works.

As digital photography emerged, I explored several early digital cameras, embracing the new possibilities they offered. A major step forward came in 2004, when I purchased my first serious camera: the Fujifilm S5600 hybrid. This marked the beginning of a more focused and intentional photographic journey. In 2007, I transitioned to digital SLR photography, working with cameras such as the Canon EOS 400D and later the EOS 7D Mark I. During this period, my equipment expanded significantly, with a growing collection of lenses and accessories that allowed me to refine my style and broaden my creative range.

Today, I primarily work with the Fujifilm X-T30 system camera, a setup that perfectly matches my way of working—compact, versatile, and capable of delivering outstanding image quality. Over the years, I have invested not only in equipment but also in knowledge. As a self-taught photographer, I continuously honed my skills through practice, research, and experimentation.

Thanks to my combined background in ICT and DTP, my photography naturally evolved into more professional and commercial work. This technical expertise enables me to approach assignments with both creativity and precision, delivering images that are visually strong and technically sound.

In recent years, I have also been exploring the creative possibilities that arise when combining my own photography with AI-driven tools. By merging original images with artificial intelligence, new visual dimensions emerge—ranging from subtle enhancements to entirely new interpretations. This fusion of traditional photography and modern technology opens up exciting creative opportunities and allows me to push the boundaries of visual storytelling even further.
